There is something about Jack that Jill cannot seem to wrap her mind around. He is different from the rest of them but she can’t say how. She tries to keep herself from wondering about him, telling herself that his secrets can’t matter to her. They can never be close. But as time passes and the town grows more hostile toward her, any kind of friend– even an unacknowledged one–could prove valuable.

I read the whole book when it was originally hosted on Wattpad, and highly looked forward to Ms. Lenore releasing it on Kindle. It's a great, quick read that may change your perception on how you view and judge people. The book gripped me in tense moments and I had to read certain sections numerous times just to fully capture the moment. The reason I give this review 4 stars instead of 5 is because the first few chapters use a lot of "to be" verbs, and excessive use of that peeves me a bit. Overall, I definitely recommend this to anyone who has a few bucks to spare.Product details

I love Lani Lenore's works and this was just added to the collection! Amazing and creepy and dark! super duper recommended!
